Metal Roof Retrofit Scope

B&D Roofing Solutions installed a new TPO roofing system over the existing metal roof at OFS Brands Offices in High Point, North Carolina.


The existing metal roof had previously received an aluminum coating, making an additional coating application unsuitable. A retrofit system was selected to provide a new waterproofing membrane without removing the existing metal roof.


The work included installation of flute-fill insulation between the existing metal roof ribs, additional insulation, and a mechanically attached 60-mil white TPO membrane. Perimeter termination details and prefabricated pipe boots were also included.
