High Point Housing Authority Roof Replacement
B&D Roofing Solutions served as the roofing subcontractor for the High Point Housing Authority's main office roof replacement at 500 E. Russell Avenue in High Point, NC. Working under general contractor Five Star Construction & Repair Service, B&D completed a commercial roofing project involving approximately 20,000 square feet across the North Wing, South Wing, and Maintenance Building.
The project incorporated multiple Carlisle EPDM roofing assemblies, including complete roof replacements and a roof recover, to address the different conditions of the existing roof areas.

Roof Replacement & Recover Scope
The project involved three distinct roof areas, each requiring a different roofing approach.
North Wing – Roof Replacement: Removal of the existing roofing system and installation of a new Carlisle EPDM roofing assembly incorporating insulation, cover board, and a vapor barrier over steel decking.
South Wing – Roof Recover: Installation of a fully adhered Carlisle EPDM roofing system over the existing roof assembly, incorporating a new cover board.
Maintenance Building – Roof Replacement: Removal of the existing roofing system and installation of a ballasted Carlisle EPDM assembly with new insulation.
Additional work included steel decking replacement, roof drainage improvements, rooftop equipment curb modifications, and perimeter flashing and metal details.
Manufacturer Warranty
The completed project received a 20-year Carlisle Golden Seal Total Roofing System Warranty (NDL), covering qualifying roof leaks resulting from defects in covered Carlisle roofing materials or installation workmanship, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.
